I believe Matryoshka is the original word, that is often misunderstood as Babushka, but they are both referring to the same thing.
Matryoshka meaning mother, and Babushka i think is grandmother.
So there could be two classes of nested ships: Matryoshka (mother)- and it's older and more volatile Babushka(grandmother) model. |

Christmas edition Svipul that has a 4th mode that allows it to transform into an upright christmas tree with rediculous amounts of lights on it when engaged.
Engine drone sound becomes annoying christmas music and weapon turrets light up as ornaments to spread good cheer.
